After researching this I found that in the past ten years a lot of children have been abused with in states custody. Forgive me, but I think this is wrong. These children were taken from their homes to " protect". These children were suppose to be safe. Yet after doing research on the internet I found that it happens in all state, not just mine. So many have died in states custody. We as a people do nothing. I want to make every person aware that some parents get falsely accused and these children suffer the most. I am speaking on behalf of all children, and these young woman, and families whom are be taken advantage of.
I am fighting for my grandchildren. I want them safe. I know for the moment they are safe. The foster parents they are currently with are great. However who is to say that my grandchildren will not be moved. The Cps Worker that my daughter Alyssa is working with, is suppose to help. But Cameron North is the biggest bully of them all. She uses her bias against these young families. I see this woman using her position, her power to take children out of decent home only to put them in homes that could be one of those homes where a child has died. These are my grand children so I will stop at nothing, to make sure No more children are taken from decent loving families. I know that some parent need services from Child Services. And Some caseworkers are better then others. I will say this I have had some decent case workers in my past I will admit I am not perfect. I was a teen parent and Child Services got involved with my family several times over an 18 year period. I was lucky because I fought. I did not allow myself to get bullied by anyone. I learned a lot. I also kept my children. They were never taken, Although I was offered to put my kids in voluntary placement a couple times I refused. I am a parent and I learned how to fight.
But young girls like my daughter Alyssa, they do not have the life experience to stand up for herself to someone in a position of authority. That what these caseworkers want, some one whom is easy to bully. A lot of these girls are young and want direction and caseworkers like Cameron North take advantage of their inexperience. These girls do not question these caseworkers due to the power and authority they have. There girls are afraid of loosing their children. We need to let these case workers know we are watching them. Contact your government officials and let them know that having one child die in the states custody is one to many. We want people whom will help these young families, and the ultimate outcome is to keep the kids at home. These days caseworkers would rather remove the children first and ask questions later. I believe as people it is our right as parents to tell other to but out. The state has no right to tell use how to raise our kids. Stand up for our rights as parents.
My life experiences. I am a mother of eight children and I am a college student, and I am trying to start a home based business. I am sharing my journey with others

Children Service Do they Help or Hurt?
I can only tell you from my own experience and I have lots. I am a mother of eight and my children had some problems growing up. I was a teen parent, so child services got involved with me due to my age, they never really stayed gone for long. I dealt with them for off and on for 18 years. I even still speak to a few of my old caseworkers. Now my oldest daughter is almost 21 years old.
I have not ever had my children taken from me, during the time I personally was involved they helped me with things like schedules, and find out how to deal with each of my children as individuals. At that time they were a great help. Now I have not been involved with child services in almost five years.
My daughter Alyssa whom is 18 years old has two children, got involved with child services my advice was to take whatever classes she could, not only would it help her with finding a good support system. Other parents whom could understand her situation. It would give her others parent to relate to. Now do not get me wrong I did not believe for one minute that Child Services was a bad thing I thought they were there to help. In this case, I now know that Children Services Are BULLIES in the worst form. I have been doing research on this subject, In the last 10 years several children in the state of Washington have died or been injured while in the states care. Do I think that these children would have been better off with their parents in some cases YES. Loosing Even ONE child is one to many.
At the beginning of this month my daughter Alyssa was told that she would have her children returned to her after their voluntary place of sixty days. She was excited to hear that. But she also wanted to transition her kids in away that it would not damage them. The foster parents have done a wonderful job and I have nothing bad to say about them. I am grateful to them. Alyssa asked her caseworker if there was a way that the foster parents could remain involved with the kids after the kids came home. Alyssa got told by the caseworker that it would be up to the foster parents. I told her to write a note to the foster parents and ask.
Recently however I have learned several things about Alyssa's caseworker. The caseworker has lied to both Alyssa and the foster parents about several things. First lie. Alyssa asked the foster parents if they would like to go to an event in the park and bring the kids public event. Alyssa got told by the caseworker that foster parents had other plans that could not be changed. The foster parents got told that they were not allowed to bring the children to this event.
Then about a week ago the caseworker showed up to talk to Alyssa. She told Alyssa that the kids would NOT be returned due to Alyssa having Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Now I am a Psychology student and know that this condition is treatable, does not interfere with Alyssa's ability to be a parent. The caseworker told Alyssa that Alyssa had couple of choices. Alyssa could extend the voluntary place and look into open adoption, or she could revoke voluntary placement however if Alyssa did that than the caseworker would file a dependency on her two children. This is when
Alyssa calls mom to ask for advice.
Now after thinking about it for twenty four hours, I realized two things. One Child Services is a Bully in the worst form. Two I will not allow Alyssa to get hurt. So I am fighting. I have emailed every government official in my state, today. I am now blogging about this issue. And I am going to upload an youtube video, I will continue to contact others like the media to get the word out that Child Services is taking children away from decent homes and putting our children at risk.
I fully believe that each case worker is over worked to some degree, but I also believe that these people allow their personal benefits influence their objectivity. I believe that some caseworkers are like other human people that they take children for the power trip it gives them. Others do it for the fear that it causes to young woman like Alyssa. Now my view is child services ,it that they hurt a Hell of a lot more then help.
